The video footage from the dashboard camera of a car driving alongside the McLaren supercar reveals that the accident occurred at 5:35 PM on November 19, 2023.
As the traffic light turned green, the luxury supercar rapidly accelerated through the intersection. However, as it reached the middle of the junction, it was unexpectedly struck by a motorbike driven by a young man of indeterminate background, approaching from the right direction, crashing directly into the side of the car.
The impact caused the young man on the motorbike to fall to the ground, but he was able to stand up afterwards. The video concludes at this point.
Assigning Fault in this Scenario
Based on the video, it is challenging to determine whether the young man on the motorbike ran a red light. However, the McLaren supercar was driving in the correct lane, following the traffic signal. At that moment, the signal had turned green.
If the young man on the motorbike indeed ran a red light, he would undoubtedly bear full responsibility for compensating the owner of the McLaren supercar.
