In the Moto2 category, Honda is an active participant in the FIM MotoGP World Championship with the IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia racing team. In addition, Honda also competes in the Moto3 category with the Honda Team Asia racing team. Honda has officially announced the racing lineup for the 2020 season in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories. In the Moto2 category, Thai rider Somkiat Chantra will continue to compete, and Honda will soon announce his teammate. Meanwhile, in the Moto3 category, the Honda Team Asia welcomes rider Ai Ogura, who will continue to compete, and Yuki Kunii, who joins the team for the first time. Kunii, a graduate of the Suzuka Circuit Racing school, is currently participating in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship and Red Bull Rookies Cup.

Hiroshi Aoyama will continue to manage both teams. Speaking about the upcoming season, Aoyama expressed confidence in Chantra’s performance in the Moto2 category, expecting even better results in 2020. Aoyama also highlighted the speed and potential of Kunii, their new teammate. With strong competition and mutual support, Aoyama believes the team’s riders will achieve good results. The whole team is committed to supporting their talented riders in the upcoming season.
