Chery reveals iCAR 03 pricing: Solar-powered self-charging electric car from 459 million VND

Accordingly, the car will be available in two versions. The two-wheel-drive version will be priced between 140,000 – 160,000 NDT (459 – 525 million VND).

Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive version will be priced between 160,000 – 190,000 NDT (525 – 623 million VND). Early customers can expect to receive the car as early as next month.

iCAR 03 is built on Chery’s S5X electric vehicle platform. The car has dimensions of 4,406 x 1,910 x 1,715 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,715 mm.

iCAR 03 has a robust and rugged off-road design. This SUV stands out with its vibrant yellow color, complemented by a black roof and sleek hidden door handles. The front of the car features vertical headlights with the “i” logo at the center of the enclosed radiator grille.

The rear of the iCAR 03 features horizontally-opening doors, reminiscent of the high-end Land Rover Defender. The taillights also mirror the shape of the headlights in the front.

Notably, the car is equipped with solar panels integrated into the front and roof, enhancing electricity generation and optimizing the travel range.

As for the interior, iCAR 03 is equipped with an array of conveniences, including a 15.4-inch central touchscreen with the i-VA smart interaction system, wireless charging, a 12-speaker Infinity sound system, and safety features such as ABS, EBD, and ESP.

iCar 03 is equipped with CATL’s LFP battery, and Chery has previously announced that this SUV model will offer a range of up to 500 km. The car features a front-mounted electric motor with a power output of 135 kW (184 horsepower), produced by Qida, a subsidiary of Chery Group. The maximum speed of the iCar 03 is 150 km/h. In the future, Chery will also introduce a 4WD version.
