It’s astonishing how a 24-year-old bike can be preserved in a paper box for such a long time.

This vintage motorcycle is set to be auctioned by Artcurial on March 18th at the Rétromobile Salon in Paris, France. The estimated auction price for the bike ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 Euros (equivalent to approximately 129 million to 258 million VND).

Honda Dream 50 is a classic retro-style motorcycle, specifically created by Honda for motorcycle enthusiasts. First showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, it was later mass-produced and made available in the market until 1997. This bike is considered a faithful replica of the 1962 CR110 racing bike.

The engine compartment of this bike is truly exceptional.

All the details and components of this bike are preserved in their original condition.

This bike was exclusively sold in Japan and was in production for two years—1997 and 1998.

With its resemblance to the CR110 racing bike from the past, the Dream 50 is considered a masculine, manual clutch motorcycle. It boasts a large and deep headlight, along with two analog gauges for RPM and speed on the top. The handlebars are designed to be separate, forming a short V shape.

The rear taillight of this bike is sturdy and robust.

The 1998 Honda Dream 50 is equipped with a small 1-cylinder 50cc engine, reaching a top speed of 90 km/h. It also has a 5-speed gearbox and a maximum power output of 5.6 horsepower at 10,500 RPM.

On the other hand, the Dream 50R, a higher-end model, is specifically designed for racing with a top speed of up to 140 km/h. The only difference is that the instrument panel is extended forward, providing convenience for the rider, especially at high speeds.

This brand new rear wheel is ready to be installed on the bike.

Prior to this, there were no records or evidence of any Honda Dream 50 bike being kept intact in a box like this, making this bike potentially the only one of its kind in the world today.
