December 2023 is set to be an exciting month for the Vietnamese car market, with several car manufacturers and dealerships offering attractive discounts and promotions. Volkswagen is one of them.
The discount level for Volkswagen cars in December has actually decreased compared to the previous month. The highest discount for Volkswagen cars in December 2023 is 400 million VND instead of the previous 500 million VND.
In particular, the Volkswagen Teramont continues to be discounted by 400 million VND, with the price reduced from 2.499 billion VND to 2.099 billion VND. Similarly, the Volkswagen Touareg Luxury version is also discounted by 400 million VND. The discounted price of the Volkswagen Touareg Luxury is 3.099 billion VND.
For the Volkswagen Tiguan and Touareg Elegance, the discount level will be 300 million VND. The reduced prices for these two models are 1.699 billion VND and 2.699 billion VND, respectively.
For the Volkswagen T-Cross and Virtus models, the registration fees will be supported. Currently, the Volkswagen T-Cross is priced from 1.099 – 1.299 billion VND, while the corresponding prices for the Virtus are 999 million VND to 1.069 billion VND.

December 2023 promotion program for Volkswagen cars (unit: VND)
In addition, in December 2023, Volkswagen plans to launch 2 new car models in the Vietnamese market: Viloran and Teramont X. Volkswagen Viloran is a large MPV, while Teramont X belongs to the SUV Coupe segment.
All dealerships have already started accepting deposits for Viloran and Teramont X, with a promise to deliver the cars before Tet holidays. Volkswagen Viloran in Vietnam will have 2 versions: Premium and Luxury, with respective prices of 1.989 billion VND and 2.188 billion VND. Meanwhile, the Volkswagen Teramont X is priced at 2.168 billion VND according to dealerships.
The common feature of these 2 new Volkswagen models is that they are both completely imported from China. Both of them are produced by the SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture in China. On the other hand, the Volkswagen models currently sold in Vietnam are completely imported from the US, Europe, or India.
It is known that Volkswagen Vietnam plans to switch to importing Teramont from China, similar to Teramont X, instead of from the US as before. This may help reduce the price of Volkswagen Teramont and make it more accessible to customers.
