The recently launched, new generation Ford Ranger Raptor has generated a lot of excitement among off-road enthusiasts in the US market. The renowned Texas-based tuning company, Hennessey, has introduced the first images of the VelociRaptor 500 upgrade package. However, Hennessey has only released digital renderings of this high-performance pickup truck. It is planned that only 200 units of the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 will be produced in 2024.

In terms of the exterior, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 is equipped with new front and rear bumpers and integrated LED auxiliary lights. The Hennessey logo is visible in various locations. The side steps have also been redesigned to enhance the vehicle’s performance. Additionally, this pickup truck comes standard with Hennessey 18-inch wheels and 35-inch off-road tires. The owner of the car has the option to upgrade the interior with Hennessey patterns on the headrests. The car’s serial number is displayed in both the engine compartment and the interior space.

The heart of the new generation Ford Ranger Raptor is a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, generating 411 horsepower and 582 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system. Additionally, the car is equipped with front and rear locking differentials and a 2-speed transfer case. Hennessey has enhanced the power of this pickup truck to 507 horsepower and 746 Nm of torque.

The engine upgrades include a high-performance air intake system, a larger intercooler, and a new engine control software (ECU). Additionally, the sporty pickup truck is equipped with an active exhaust system, a 64mm Fox “Live Valve” suspension system, and various drive mode options such as Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, Baja, and Tow-Haul.

The starting price of the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor in the US is $56,960. Customers can place orders at the end of this month, and the earliest batch of cars will be delivered in the second quarter of 2023. The price for the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 upgrade package goes up to $24,950. In Vietnam, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is only available with a 2.0L diesel engine producing 207 horsepower. The starting price of the car is from 1.299 billion VND.
