The Hybrid 130 version combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with a more powerful electric engine, resulting in a total output of 130 horsepower and 185 Nm of torque. With this increased power, the Yaris Cross now accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 10.7 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds faster than its predecessor.
For those who prefer a less powerful option, the Hybrid 115 version is still available, delivering 114 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. It’s important to note that Toyota believes hybrid self-charging technology is the key feature for Yaris Cross buyers, which is why the company only offers hybrid versions for the B-SUV model in Europe.
In terms of exterior design, the 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross retains the same stylish look as its predecessor but now offers a new Juniper Blue color option. The premium Premiere Edition comes in an exclusive Urban Khaki color, which is complemented by matching interior accents and new 18-inch alloy wheels. Both the Premiere Edition and GR Sport versions are equipped with the more powerful hybrid option.
Inside the cabin, the Yaris Cross receives notable technology upgrades. Depending on the version, you can choose between a 7-inch or 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, paired with a 9-inch or 10.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system has been enhanced to support over-the-air updates and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Turning our attention to noise reduction and comfort, Toyota engineers have made efforts to minimize noise and vibration, ensuring a smooth ride for Yaris Cross passengers.
