Triumph Thruxton 1200 Final Edition 2024 debuts with unique paint scheme

The Triumph Thruxton Final Edition 2024 is the ultimate version created specifically for passionate motorcycle lovers. Triumph Thruxton recently unveiled the Final Edition, showcasing the classic Cafe-Racer style. This ultimate model, based on the Thruxton RS, presents an exclusive Competition Green color with exquisite hand-painted yellow decorative trim.

The fuel tank proudly displays the “Heritage Triumph” logo in gold, accompanied by “Thruxton Final Edition” badges on the side covers. Additionally, the motorcycle features an optional flyscreen, designed to enhance aerodynamics.

Under the hood, the Thruxton Final Edition and the Thruxton 1200 RS share the same powerful parallel twin engine with a remarkable 1,200cc displacement, capable of delivering a maximum power of 105 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 112 Nm at 4,250 rpm.

When it comes to performance, the motorcycle doesn’t disappoint. Equipped with Brembo M50 radial calipers, 32-spoke tubeless rims, and a 310 mm Brembo disc on the front wheel, the Thruxton Final Edition ensures optimal braking capability. The Showa suspension system with adjustable Ohlins twin shocks at the rear provides a smooth and comfortable ride. Apart from these unique features, the rest of the Thruxton 1200 Final Edition remains consistent with the regular RS model. Motorcycle enthusiasts in Europe can expect the first batch to arrive at dealerships in the spring of the following year.

Originally introduced as a limited edition racing motorcycle in 1964, the Triumph Thruxton rapidly gained recognition for its outstanding performance in endurance races. Notably, it secured all three podium positions in the 1969 Thruxton 500-mile race and became the first production motorcycle to complete the demanding Isle of Man TT Mountain Course, reaching a speed exceeding 160 km/h.
