The all-new Hyundai Sonata 2024 has been officially priced after its unveiling in September.

The Hyundai Sonata 2024 starts at $27,500 (about 667 million VND) and goes up to $37,200 (about 900 million VND). The new Sonata has a higher price compared to its predecessor, which is understandable as the company has discontinued the standard SE version.

As a result, the Sonata SEL will become the lowest-priced version. This variant is equipped with a 2.5L GDI 4-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. It comes with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The company also offers the option of all-wheel drive for this version, at an additional cost of $1,500 (about 36 million VND).

The higher-end version is the Sonata SEL Convenience, priced at $30,550 (about 741 million VND), with the same engine configuration as the standard variant.

The Sonata 2024 N Line, on the other hand, starts at $34,950 (about 848 million VND). It features a turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 290 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque. It comes with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Hyundai also offers hybrid engine options for the Sonata. The Sonata HEV SEL starts at $30,800 (about 747 million VND) and is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 2.0L gasoline 4-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Sonata HEV Limited is the most expensive variant, priced at $37,200 (about 902 million VND). Hyundai has yet to announce the engine configuration for this variant.

The company plans to start delivering cars to pre-order customers in early 2024.

In the United States, Hyundai’s D-size sedan competes with rivals such as the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Nissan Altima.
