2014 Toyota Yaris from Thailand: Crashed Dream Motorcycle with Front End Damage

Upon its arrival in Vietnam, the front of the newly imported 2014 Toyota Yaris from Thailand was severely damaged due to a minor collision.

Recently, in Bac Ninh province, two cars, a Toyota Yaris and a Dream, collided. According to the car owner’s Facebook post, the collision was minor, but the red Toyota Yaris sustained heavy damage to the front.

From the images provided by the car owner, it can be seen that the red Toyota Yaris collided with an old Dream motorcycle. The front right corner of the car was completely destroyed in the collision, and the hood of the Toyota Yaris was lifted. On the other hand, the old Dream motorcycle seems to have only minor damage.

It is known that the red Toyota Yaris involved in the accident is a new 2014 model imported from Thailand to Vietnam. Unfortunately, the car was not insured.

In mid-June 2014, Toyota introduced the 2014 Yaris to the Vietnamese market. The car is distributed through authorized dealers and comes in two versions: 1.3 G and 1.3 E.

The 2014 Toyota Yaris imported from Thailand to Vietnam is equipped with a 4-cylinder, 16-valve, DOHC twin-cam engine with intelligent variable valve timing (VVT-i) and a displacement of 1.3 liters. The engine produces a maximum power of 84 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 121 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the 2014 Toyota Yaris imported from Thailand to Vietnam has a fuel consumption of 5.7 liters per 100 km.

The safety features of the 2014 Toyota Yaris include two front airbags, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA). All seats in the car are equipped with 3-point seat belts (shoulder and sides).

The 2014 Toyota Yaris imported from Thailand to Vietnam is available in five different colors: silver, gray, dark red, light blue, and white. The starting price for the 2014 Toyota Yaris imported from Thailand to Vietnam is 620 million VND.
