Koreancarblog.com has recently published interior images of the KIA Carnival Facelift. The images showcase the driver’s cabin, which features a large curved display screen similar to the one found in the 2024 K5 model. This screen combines both the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen. Alongside the larger screen, it is also expected that the Carnival Facelift will include fingerprint recognition technology, similar to that of the new K5.
When it comes to the exterior design, noticeable changes can be seen in the redesigned headlights and taillights, which have been given a “T” shape.
The front grille has also undergone updates and will have different styles depending on the version. The displayed car belongs to the Gravity version, which showcases dark metallic accents. Additionally, the front bumper has been streamlined by eliminating the fog lights.
As for the rear of the car, the trunk no longer has a handle for opening. Another noticeable change is the positioning of the Kia logo, which no longer acts as a divider for the LED strip. The reflector lights on the rear bumper also appear to be slimmer compared to the previous model.
One of the highly anticipated changes is expected to be found under the hood, with the Carnival 2024 rumored to receive a hybrid powertrain. This hybrid powertrain is believed to combine a turbocharged 1.6L gasoline engine with an electric motor, potentially inherited from the Sorento model. The exact power output has not been disclosed yet, but the Sorento SUV has a combined power output of 227 horsepower.
Further official details about the KIA Carnival 2024 will be announced in the near future.
