In early July, Toyota unveiled teaser images of the upcoming Land Cruiser model for the US market. While there is still limited official information available, it is anticipated that this SUV model will resemble the new Land Cruiser Prado model for the European market. Kolesa.ru has provided a sketch of the anticipated design for the Toyota Land Cruiser 2025.

Prior to these teaser images, official images of the US version of the Land Cruiser showcased a large, boxy SUV with a short protrusion and classic design lines. The overall design of the new Land Cruiser evokes similarities to the new Lexus GX model while retaining Toyota’s signature features such as the front grille and daytime LED strip lights.

The interior of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 is expected to offer a three-row configuration with seven seats, combining practicality with the latest Toyota technologies.
The Land Cruiser 2025 is projected to share the TNGA-F platform with the Lexus GX and other SUV models, including certain pickup truck models from the automaker. If it shares the same length as the GX, measuring 5,005 mm, it will be slightly longer than the Land Cruiser J300, which has a length of 4,985 mm and is currently available in other markets. However, variations in the front and rear bumper designs might alter the length of the new Land Cruiser.
Regarding the drivetrain, it is expected that the Land Cruiser 2025 will be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 3.4L engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 349 horsepower, similar to the Lexus GX model. Additionally, there may be an option for the i-Force Max hybrid engine, providing a combined power of 437 horsepower, as seen in the electric hybrid Toyota Sequoia model. Regardless of the chosen engine option, it is highly probable that the Land Cruiser 2025 will come with a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD.
