It is easy to notice that the front of the car has been redesigned, highlighted by the new slim LED headlights stacked vertically. The 3D tiger-nose grille is similar to the Carnival.
The T-shaped daytime running lights of the Sorento are inspired by the design of the flagship electric model Kia EV9, and they can also be reminiscent of the smaller electric model EV5.
The LED taillights have also been refined with a more angular shape and connected to each other, instead of the parallel dual lights on the previous version. In addition, the rear bumper also has additional sharp-edged metal-like trim panels, making the car more sporty.
In the meantime, the design of the sides of the car remains relatively unchanged, except for the new wheels that look more agile.
For the Kia Sorento 2024, the designers have implemented a more logical layout for the dashboard. The car is equipped with a new large curved screen, which is a combination of the 12.3-inch screens of the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. This new design makes the interior of the Kia Sorento 2024 look neat and more modern.
A notable addition to the new Sorento’s technology features is the fingerprint authentication system, which allows users to confirm their identity to start the car or perform simple payment transactions. In addition, the car is also offered with new interior upholstery options, including a combination of black and brown colors.
Like its predecessor, the Kia Sorento facelift will be offered in the domestic market of South Korea with a range of drivetrain options, including gasoline, diesel, and hybrid variants, with both 2WD and 4WD configurations for the hybrid version. The plug-in hybrid version is also expected to be introduced in other markets.
