Hyundai Elantra 2022: An In-depth Look at the All-New Model Under 800 Million VND

The 2022 Hyundai Elantra was officially unveiled in Hanoi on October 14th, 2022, with an impressive debut that showcases its high-speed racing DNA. This all-new version of the C-segment sedan from the Korean brand exudes a sporty character.

The car’s overall dimensions have been altered in terms of length and width, resulting in increased space and improved comfort for passengers. Specifically, the Elantra’s dimensions are 4.675 x 1.825 x 1.430 mm (length x width x height). It has a wheelbase of 2.720 mm and a ground clearance of 150mm, enhancing its sporty and stable performance.

Deviating from the elegant and modern design of its predecessor, the new 2022 Hyundai Elantra boasts a distinctive and captivating appearance. The sporty vibe is particularly pronounced in the front of the car.

With its sharp lines, the Elantra exudes a sense of extended sportiness from the front to the rear. The Elantra 2022 N-Line sport version is equipped with carbon-patterned side moldings. The rear of the car slopes down with large C-pillars, providing a coupe-like feel.

If the front of the Hyundai Elantra already exudes sportiness, the rear of the car is equally captivating! The rear trunk lid is distinctively contoured, creating a rugged and muscular appearance, accentuated by a running red LED strip.

In the middle of this contoured trunk lid, the trunk opening button is designed in the form of a small and charming hexagon, subtly nodding to the characteristic style of Italian bull-branded supercars. The taillights on both sides feature sharp angles, reflecting the modern look of German luxury-sport models.

Below, the Hyundai Elantra 2022 N-Line version is equipped with a sporty air splitter that seamlessly integrates with the front bumper and side moldings. Stepping into the interior of the Hyundai Elantra 2022, one is immediately greeted by a modern and sporty ambiance. Intricately designed leather seats provide excellent comfort and support, with power adjustment, heating, and cooling functions. The driver and front passenger are separated by a high ridge—a feature commonly seen in sports cars, racing cars, and supercars.

The central control cluster in the Hyundai Elantra features a neat and aesthetically pleasing design. The physical control knob for the dual-zone automatic air conditioning function is easy to operate. Below it, there is a wireless charging pad and a water tray that can be switched between two convenient shallow-to-deep modes.

The gear lever in the sporty N-Line version is compact and ergonomically designed, while the lower versions feature a slightly larger lever with a yacht-like aircraft-style design. Next to the gear lever, there are physical controls for the drive mode selector, surround view camera, and electronic parking brake with an automatic hold function.

In the rear seats, the Hyundai Elantra 2022 features a charging port and air conditioning vents. The middle backrest includes cup holders and a foldable armrest. The interior space is quite generous as the overall size and wheelbase of the C-segment sedan have been increased.

Regarding powertrain configurations, Thanh Cong Distributor offers four versions of the 2022 Hyundai Elantra, featuring three engine options: 1.6 Turbo N-Line (the top-end version), 2.0L, and 1.6L naturally aspirated engines. All three engine options have been upgraded to the new SmartStream generation, resulting in a 4% increase in power output and a 12% reduction in emissions.

The sporty N-Line version is equipped with a multi-link rear suspension, while the other versions of the Elantra 2022 feature a torsion beam rear suspension with a stabilizer bar. The sporty version also boasts larger brake discs.
