Lexus has recently unveiled preliminary details about their latest model, the LBX. With its name, we can infer that this vehicle belongs to the SUV segment, specifically the small B-class segment.

The revealed image showcases the LBX’s relatively short front end. It features a flat design front grille and connected main headlights with a chrome strip. The rear image only reveals the continuous folded rear lights.

The LBX is expected to share the same platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross, positioning it as the smallest SUV in the Lexus lineup. If it adopts the GA-B platform from the Yaris Cross, the overall dimensions of the Lexus LBX will be 4,180 x 1,765 x 1,560 mm (length x width x height).

The Yaris Cross model is equipped with a hybrid engine, consisting of a 1.5L VVT-i gasoline engine and 2 or 3 electric motors, depending on the version. This engine produces a power output of 114 horsepower and a maximum torque of 120 Nm.

The compact size of the Lexus LBX makes it suitable for the European and Asian markets. There are high chances that this B-segment SUV will soon be available in Vietnam. Currently, Lexus offers 4 SUV models in Vietnam: NX, RX, GX, and LX, with prices starting from 3.13 – 8.5 billion VND.
