The Suzuki Jimny 5-door was introduced in the Indian market earlier this year and has now expanded to other markets including South Africa and Australia.
In Australia, the 5-door version is called the Jimny XL to differentiate it from the 3-door version. The Suzuki Jimny XL 2024 for Australia is imported from India, which is likely to become the production center for the 5-door model.
The Australian market offers two versions of the Jimny XL 2024: manual and automatic. The respective prices for these two versions are 34,990 AUD (about 558 million VND) and 36,490 AUD (582 million VND). The 5-door model is approximately 3,000 AUD (48 million VND) more expensive than the 3-door version.
For the price mentioned above, Australian customers will receive a compact SUV with dimensions of 3,985 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,590 mm. Compared to the 3-door version, the 5-door model has a longer length and wheelbase, increased by 340 mm. The weight of the car also increases by 90 kg, and the minimum turning radius changes from 9.8 m to 11.4 m.
