Toyota Vietnam joins the 4th VIMEXPO exhibition

Toyota Vietnam is proud to be part of the 4th Vietnam International Supporting Industries and Processing Manufacturing Exhibition (VIMEXPO), where we will be showcasing our locally assembled Veloz Cross model. We are excited to represent the automotive industry at this event, and this marks our fourth consecutive year of participation in the exhibition.

VIMEXPO 2023 is the International Exhibition on Industrial Support and Manufacturing in Vietnam. It is organized by the Industrial Development Support Center – Department of Industry – Ministry of Industry and Trade, and hosted by the Advertising Company and Exhibition Center C.I.S Vietnam. This event is directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Toyota Vietnam booth at VIMEXPO 2023

This year, the exhibition features nearly 300 booths with a total display area of 7,000m2. It showcases 250 participating enterprises which represent leading brands in the automotive manufacturing and assembly industry, high-tech industry, electronic industry, and mechanical engineering industry. The exhibition will be open to visitors from November 15th to 17th, 2023.

Additionally, the exhibition will include a seminar on “Sustainable Supply Chain: New Direction for Enterprises.” This seminar will take place on November 16th, 2023. Toyota Vietnam will participate in the seminar and deliver a presentation on the topic “The Role of Front-End Companies in Sustainable Supply Chain Development.” During this presentation, Toyota will share its perspective on sustainable development and discuss efforts to enhance localization, develop local suppliers, and contribute to environmental sustainability through vehicle development and emission reduction activities across the entire Toyota system.

Currently, Toyota has a total of 5 domestically assembled models, and the number of Toyota suppliers has increased to 60, including 13 Vietnamese suppliers. This demonstrates Toyota’s commitment to localization and its contribution to the Vietnamese economy.
