Introduced in March 2022, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 55 is a special edition created to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the AMG brand. This special edition is only offered in two exterior colors: Obsidian Black and G manufaktur Opaline White. It comes with 22-inch Tantalum Gray multi-spoke wheels adorned with stylish patterns along the sides of the car. Additionally, the G 63 Edition 55 special edition features the AMG Night Package and Night Package II, which add sporty dark accents to the overall design.
The interior of the car showcases premium materials such as carbon fiber, Dinamica synthetic fiber, and Nappa leather. The dominant color scheme is red and black. The steering wheel and armrest are adorned with the “AMG 55” emblem. The black floor mats are highlighted with red trim and feature the “Edition 55” lettering.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 55 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that generates an impressive 577 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission (9G-Tronic) and a 2-coupling all-wheel-drive system with 3 differential locks to optimize its off-road capabilities.
According to a reliable source, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 55 has already received deposits and is expected to arrive in Vietnam in early 2023. However, the price of this special edition in Vietnam has not been announced yet. In Germany, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 55 is priced approximately 17,850 Euros (equivalent to around 450 million VND) higher than the standard G 63.
