Vietnamese billionaire purchases Vietnam’s sole red Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck for over 9 billion VND.

A female customer in Vietnam recently made headlines in the car enthusiast community by purchasing the one-of-a-kind red Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck for over 9 billion VND.

The seller disclosed that this particular Ram 1500 TRX model is one of the rare 6.2 versions available in Vietnam. Moreover, it is the only one with a red exterior in the country.

Instead of the conventional delivery ceremony at the showroom, the woman received the car directly at her doorstep.

The Ram 1500 TRX is currently the most powerful full-size commercial pickup truck globally. In Vietnam, dealerships are selling this American pickup truck for around 7.9 billion VND. Including the necessary expenses for road legal registration, the estimated total cost for the owner amounts to over 9 billion VND.

The truck’s dimensions measure 5,916 x 2,235 x 2,054 mm (length x width x height) with a wheelbase of 3,685 mm. Additionally, the cargo bed has dimensions of 1,687 x 543 mm (width x height). The Ram 1500 TRX also boasts a remarkable ground clearance of up to 300 mm, allowing it to effortlessly navigate water up to 813 mm deep.

Featuring a muscular and imposing appearance, the uniquely red Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck seamlessly incorporates distinct American design elements. Its front fascia showcases a large grille with the Ram logo positioned in the center—a “brawny” hood with multiple air vents cools the engine compartment below.

The truck includes various plastic cladding elements surrounding the front bumper, grille, and lighting cluster, which collectively contribute to its robust and sporty aesthetic.

As the pinnacle of the Ram lineup, the 1500 TRX is engineered to conquer the most demanding terrains. Ram has ensured outstanding torsional rigidity, stability, and durability by constructing the entire frame of the 1500 TRX using high-strength steel.

To deliver exceptional off-road capabilities, the Ram 1500 TRX is equipped with specialized Goodyear Wrangler Territory 35-inch tires and 18-inch wheels. It also features the Ford Performance and FOX Racing Shox Live-Valve suspension system, developed by FOX.

Furthemore, the truck features an enhanced auxiliary transmission with reinforced chains, gears, bearings, and clutches. This transmission is connected to the rear Dana 60 axle, affording the truck a travel distance of up to 13 inches and an electronic rear differential lock.
