Yamaha Motor Vietnam officially launched the new version of the Janus scooter model on April 13th, featuring design and equipment improvements that give the bike a new, youthful, and dynamic style.

In terms of design, the Yamaha Janus 2022 has received some “touch-ups”, but overall, it retains its compact and sleek appearance. The straight lines of the previous version have been softened, giving the bike a more feminine and youthful look.

The overall dimensions of the Yamaha Janus 2022 are 1,850 x 705 x 1,120 mm, with a wheelbase length of 1,260 mm. The seat height is 770 mm, and the ground clearance is 135 mm. The footrest is not too wide, but it provides comfortable seating for users.

The tail design of the Yamaha Janus 2022 remains the same, with the only new addition being the pillion handle.

Looking into the details, the front face of the Yamaha Janus 2022 has been completely redesigned. The side panels are shaped like collars, drawing attention to the position lights in the middle that have been shortened. Additionally, the front turn signal pair has been streamlined and now utilizes LED technology to improve visibility on the road.

Another new feature is the redesigned headlight, which is accompanied by a shiny chrome garnish.

The pillion handle at the rear of the bike has a longer design, creating a continuous floating effect with the seat and elongating the bike’s tail. Beneath the seat, there is a 14-liter storage compartment that can hold a half-face helmet and personal items.

Yamaha has also designed the pillion handle longer to provide better support for passengers.

Similar to the previous version, the Yamaha Janus 2022 continues to be powered by the Blue Core 125cc engine. This engine offers smooth operation, low heat dissipation, and excellent fuel economy. It also delivers high torque at 9.6Nm, providing a better and more responsive acceleration.

The instrument cluster of the bike includes an analog speedometer and a digital screen that displays time, fuel level, distance traveled, and real-time fuel consumption. The interface and display method of the instrument cluster have been changed in the new version for easier observation by the rider.

The Standard version of the Yamaha Janus 2022 is equipped with a 4-in-1 lock and a convenient helmet hook.

The Special and Limited versions of the bike are equipped with the Smart Key smart lock and the SSS feature, which supports temporary engine shutdown.

The Yamaha Janus 2022 comes in three versions: Standard, Special, and Limited. These versions will be available on the market at the end of April, with prices ranging from VND 28.2 million to VND 32.2 million.
