After releasing a series of upgraded images for a while, the Hyundai Tucson 2024 has recently been officially launched in the Korean market. The Korean automaker has introduced an upgraded version after three years since the new generation was first introduced, aiming to enhance its appeal to customers. The C-segment crossover model is currently enjoying good sales in various countries, including Vietnam.

The starting price for the Hyundai Tucson 2024 is 27.71 million Won (~496 million VND) for the 1.6 Turbo gasoline version, 30.48 million Won (~545 million VND) for the Premium version, and 34.39 million Won (~615 million VND) for the Inspiration version. The standard 2.0 diesel variant is now priced at 30.13 million Won (~539 million VND). Additionally, the 1.6 Turbo Hybrid variant ranges from 32.13-38.58 million Won (~575-690 million VND).

The showcased Tucson 2024 belongs to the Hybrid version, which boasts a more eye-catching appearance compared to the gasoline version. The front bumper features an extended central air intake, divided by two air vents with LED lighting clusters. The contrasting color painted bumper, along with muscular lines, contributes to a more athletic look.

The alloy wheels flaunt a new angular design, exuding a sportier ambiance. The rear end remains largely unchanged, still featuring the same taillight cluster as its predecessor. Similarly, the rear bumper with contrasting color extends to the sides, enhancing visual impact and creating a seamless connection for the vehicle.

The interior is fitted with a curved extended screen that connects the touch panel and instrument cluster. Each screen measures up to 12.3 inches, although this design is considered rather commonplace and fails to differentiate significantly from the previous generation. The function buttons placed below are simplified, adding a touch of luxury to the car.

The N-line variant is equipped with unique details such as the N logo, 19-inch alloy wheels specifically crafted for the N version, front and rear bumpers with additional sporty trim, side trims in body color, and dual exhaust outlets at the rear.

Moreover, the standard equipment for this C-segment crossover model includes wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, e hi-pass (Hi-Pass) – allowing road toll payment without a physical Hi-Pass card when combined with the CarPay application, a new Digital Key, and fingerprint-based door opening.

The hybrid version comes with “E-Motion Drive,” which improves driving efficiency and comfort. This mode includes “E-Dynamic Drive” for fast driving situations, such as acceleration and sudden turns. There is also “E-Comfort Drive” for uneven road surfaces.

In Vietnam, the Hyundai Tucson has made a strong impact in the market due to its competitive price and various conveniences. However, with the reduced price of the Mazda CX-5, its sales have significantly declined. Specifically, in November alone, 2,195 units of the CX-5 were sold, while the Korean model only reached 1,249 units. Currently, the price range for the four Tucson variants in Vietnam is from 769-899 million dong.
Apart from the CX-5, this C-segment crossover model also competes with the Kia Sportage, Ford Territory, and Toyota Corolla Cross.
