Yesterday, at around 7:30 PM, a Volga car, an old brand from the Soviet Union, suddenly broke down while driving on Truong Chinh Street in Hanoi. The 4-seat vintage car came to a complete stop, resulting in a long traffic jam on the street. Witnesses at the scene stated that the driver abandoned the car. As of this morning, the car is still stranded on Truong Chinh Street.

The Volga car brand might not be familiar to young people in Vietnam. It used to be a popular car model in the country during the 80s, imported from the Soviet Union. However, during the socialist era, Volga cars were exclusively reserved for the transportation of government officials with a rank of Minister or higher.

A collision occurred between a truck carrying bricks and a container truck yesterday afternoon on the bypass road from Cam Pha to Hoanh Bo, Quang Ninh. The truck carrying bricks collided head-on with the incoming container truck. The driver of the container truck died instantly at the scene, while the driver of the brick truck sustained serious injuries. Both vehicles were completely wrecked, and bricks were scattered all over the road.

This morning, there was a collision between a truck and a car on Pham Van Dong Street in Hanoi. Eyewitnesses reported that both vehicles were initially driving alongside each other on Pham Van Dong Street, with the truck in the outer lane. Suddenly, the truck changed lanes and crashed into the rear of the car. The impact caused the car to spin and the truck continued to collide with its side. The truck pushed the car for over ten meters before finally stopping.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident despite the car being completely damaged.
