If we can consider part 4 of the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction as a “disaster” for movie enthusiasts, at least the unique cars in the movie bring some interesting aspects. Of course, most attention will be given to the main “characters” like the 1969 Chevrolet Bumblebee Camaro, which will be auctioned off at the end of this month.

Despite being a vintage model, this Bumblebee Camaro is equipped with a range of impressive modern features. Under the hood, it houses a direct fuel injection V8 engine borrowed from its “sibling” Corvette, complemented by a 6-speed manual transmission. Although specific engine details are not provided, the Corvette name ensures remarkable power.

The V8 engine comes from a Corvette.

Furthermore, the suspension system has been 100% modified down to the smallest detail, combined with high-performance Wilwood brakes, providing an impressive driving experience and enhanced safety. Notably, the “wild” Nitto tires give the vintage Camaro an aggressive look, perfectly matching its overall appearance. The body kit, made of carbon fiber, allows the 4 massive wheels to seamlessly blend with the Bumblebee Camaro while minimizing weight gain.

The modified Camaro features massive wheels.

However, perhaps the other carbon details such as the engine cover or the hood hinge set from the Eddie Motorsport brand are not as important as director Micheal Bay’s signature on the car. Currently, this renowned director is also the owner of the 1969 Bumblebee Camaro.

The interior also features a black and gold color scheme, matching the exterior.
