The Hyundai Palisade Exclusive version is now discounted by 70 million VND at the dealership, bringing the actual selling price of the car down to 1.4 billion VND.
Since its launch in the Vietnamese market in mid-September 2023, the price of the full-size SUV Hyundai Palisade has gone through some unusual fluctuations. Last month, this model gained attention when it was sold at a price 50 – 80 million VND higher, and even more than 100 million VND higher at dealerships due to insufficient supply. Recently, Hyundai dealerships have taken a different approach and started offering cash discounts to attract customers to purchase cars at the end of the year.
Specifically, a dealership in Hanoi is currently offering a 70 million VND discount on the Hyundai Palisade Exclusive version, which is directly deducted from the selling price. As a result, the actual selling price of this car is only about 1.4 billion VND.
In addition, customers who finalize their purchase before December 31, 2023, can save about 73 million VND thanks to a 50% discount on vehicle registration fees, which is supported by the Government and applicable to domestically assembled models.
Hyundai Palisade is available in the Vietnamese market in 4 different versions, with listed prices ranging from 1.47 billion to 1.59 billion VND. Compared to competitors in the same segment such as Ford Explorer (2.439 billion VND) or Volkswagen Teramont (2.499 billion VND), the Palisade is significantly more affordable. In fact, its attractive price allows the Palisade to compete with lower segment models such as the Ford Everest or Kia Sorento.
In addition to its advantage in terms of price, the Hyundai Palisade also attracts customers with its bold and rugged exterior. The front end of the car stands out with a large-sized grille, creating the Cascading Grill waterfall design. This grille design also applies the Parametric Dynamics aerodynamic style, similar to the Hyundai Tucson, helping to create a strong and sturdy design that resembles a powerful shield.
The full LED Projector lighting system and T-Shape signature daytime running lights (DRL) with a continuous design surrounding the grille create a seamless block. The rear of the car features vertically placed large-sized LED taillights combined with a large-sized rear bumper and dual exhaust pipes, giving the car a muscular appearance.
In terms of the interior, the Hyundai Palisade offers two options: 6 seats or 7 seats. The 12.3-inch central touchscreen is connected to a 360-degree camera and supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. It is also equipped with a premium 12-speaker Infinity entertainment system with a total power of 550W.
Other impressive features include a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display (HUD), an electronic parking brake, rear seat sunshades, rear air vents, charging ports for all 3 rows, anti-glare rearview mirror, etc.
In terms of safety features, the Hyundai Palisade is equipped with the SmartSense active safety system, which includes Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Emergency Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), and 7 airbags. These safety features ensure the safety of the driver, passengers, and other vehicles on the road.
Powering the Hyundai Palisade is the R 2.2 diesel engine (D4HB) with a maximum power of 200 horsepower at 3,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 440Nm at 1,750 rpm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent 4-wheel-drive HTRAC system.
