In the morning of December 22, the Vietnamese Auction Joint Stock Company continued to bring a series of car license plates to the auction floor. Among them, the license plate 30L-000.01 of Hanoi surprised everyone when it was sold for 2.805 billion VND. According to the auction session records, this license plate attracted many bidders and the price skyrocketed in just a few minutes.
From the perspective of luxury license plate collectors, the number 00001 represents the unparalleled status and uniqueness of the owner. Therefore, this license plate received special attention from many millionaires who were willing to spend billions of VND on it.

In the auction session on the morning of December 22, there were also many other license plates sold at high prices, such as 30L-000.01 (2.805 billion VND), 30K-955.55 (1.17 billion VND), and 30K-868.88 (1.14 billion VND). Particularly, the extremely rare license plate 11A-111.11 from Cao Bang province surprised everyone when it was sold for the highest price of 8.78 billion VND.
Under the new auction rules implemented in the second phase of license plate auctions, the duration of each auction session has been reduced from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. Participants can register and participate in the auction using their phone numbers, as well as their ID card numbers and tax numbers for businesses simultaneously.
Five days prior to the official auction date, the organizing unit will publish the official participant list based on the registered license plates. For the remaining license plates that were not selected by participants, they can continue to choose and register for participation until 3 days before the auction date.
In the case where only one person is registered and eligible to participate in the auction, the car license plate will be directly transferred to that person without the need for an auction.
In this scenario, the winner will receive a notification and a confirmation document. The confirmation process can take up to 120 minutes.
