It is worth mentioning that license plate 22A-222.22 received multiple bids and quickly escalated in price within the first 10 minutes. Eventually, it was successfully auctioned off for the staggering price of 12.19 billion VND by a wealthy individual, surprising many people.
Comparing the bidding results, the price of this license plate is on par with the 30K-567.89 plate (12.57 billion VND) and the 51K-888.88 plate (15.2 billion VND) from previous auctions.

Under the new regulations for license plate auctions, the bidding time has been reduced from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. Participants can register for an auction account using their phone numbers, while businesses can use their citizen identity and tax numbers.
Furthermore, if only one eligible participant registers for the auction at the end of the registration period, the license plate will be automatically transferred to that individual.
