The Isuzu D-Max 2025 electric version is set to bring a completely fresh, modern, and more rugged look.
In September 2023, Isuzu announced its plans to launch its first electric pickup truck, the D-Max, in 2025. The initial target market for this vehicle is Norway, where Isuzu currently holds a 50% market share in the pickup truck segment, followed by Thailand. However, the parent company has not yet disclosed any further details about the electric Isuzu D-Max project. According to Drive, it is likely that the vehicle might be named E-Max to differentiate it from the original diesel-powered D-Max.
Recently, the YouTube channel AutomagzPro released a video showcasing the “exterior” of the upcoming electric Isuzu D-Max, providing car enthusiasts with a glimpse of its design.
The team at AutomagzPro has created two versions of the electric Isuzu D-Max. While one version features a minimalist front end with a glowing Isuzu logo on the front bumper, the other variant has a more elaborate design inspired by the current Mitsubishi Triton/L200. Overall, the electric Isuzu D-Max 2025 will have a more rugged, angular, powerful, and modern design compared to its traditional combustion engine counterpart.
However, it should be noted that these images are just renderings created by AutomagzPro, and Isuzu has not officially released any information regarding the design of the electric D-Max. It is possible that Isuzu will develop the D-Max EV based on the current version to minimize costs.
In the Vietnamese market, Isuzu D-Max is distributed through official channels and imported from Thailand. The D-Max is available in three versions with prices ranging from 630 to 880 million VND. Isuzu’s pickup truck competes with models like the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, Mazda BT-50, and Toyota Hilux.
