The Xing Guan, known as Starlight in English for now, is a sedan model with a striking and youthful design. It boasts a 3D grille that enhances aerodynamics.

The front of the car features extended LED positioning lights similar to the VinFast Lux A2.0 model. Below, there is a separate LED lighting unit. The manufacturer claims a drag coefficient of only 0.228.

Unlike the front, the rear of the Wuling Xing Guan resembles the Kia EV6 electric model, thanks to its angular LED taillights. The black painted rear bumper adds an accent, but its simple design lacks impact. The car comes with 17 or 18-inch two-tone painted wheels.

As for its dimensions, the Xing Guan has a length of 4,835mm, width of 1,860mm, height of 1,515mm, and wheelbase of 2,800mm. Comparatively, these measurements place the model in the D segment, pitting it against the Toyota Camry. The Camry measures 4,885mm (length) by 1,840mm (width) by 1,445mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,825mm.

The interior space features a minimalistic and modern style, highlighted by a 7-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a 10.1-inch center infotainment display. The gear lever is a shiny knob, adding a touch of luxury. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in six ways. Other standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning and a 4-speaker audio system.

The top-of-the-line version features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch infotainment system with Ling OS operating system, providing positioning and voice control capabilities. Other highlights include a more luxurious steering wheel and two additional speakers.

The Wuling Xing Guan is powered by a plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 174 horsepower. The standard version comes with a 9.5 kWh lithium battery, offering an electric-only range of 70 km, while the top-of-the-line version features a 20.5 kWh battery, providing a fully electric range of 150 km.

The starting price of the Wuling Xing Guan is from 88,800 Chinese yuan (approximately 290 million VND), and it goes up to 105,800 Chinese yuan (around 346 million VND) for the top-of-the-line version. Wuling also plans to introduce a new fully electric model next year.

In Vietnam, Wuling currently offers the Hongguang Mini EV in four versions, with prices ranging from 239-279 million VND. These compact electric cars are assembled and distributed by TMT in Hung Yen province.
