Honda Vietnam is pleased to announce the arrival of the BR-V MPV model. This news does not come as a surprise, as dealers have already received deposits for this particular car model.
The Honda BR-V sold in Vietnam is imported from Indonesia. The car is available in 2 versions, namely the G and L versions. Detailed information about these 2 versions has not been disclosed yet.
This MPV model utilizes a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine, similar to the one found in the Honda City sedan. In the City, this engine produces 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. It is highly likely that the engine in the BR-V will be fine-tuned for optimal performance in an MPV.
Both versions sold in Vietnam come equipped with the Honda SENSING system, while the higher L version also features the Honda LaneWatch lane-keeping assist system.

This 7-seater MPV is set to be launched on July 4. Upon its introduction, the Honda BR-V will face competition from rivals such as the Mitsubishi Xpander (priced at 555-658 million VND), Toyota Veloz Cross (priced at 658-698 million VND), and Suzuki XL7 (priced at 599.9-639.9 million VND).
An employee from a Honda dealership in Ho Chi Minh City stated, “The Honda BR-V is expected to be available for delivery from July and will have a price range of 600-700 million VND”. If the price range provided by the employee is accurate, the BR-V’s price range will align with its competitors in the segment.
