The car features a sporty, modern design with a front grille inspired by the luxury brand Lexus.
The MG RX5 offers a spacious interior with 5 seats. The car has leather seats in 2-tone colors, while the dashboard and door panels are decorated with wood. It also comes with a 3-spoke steering wheel and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. The car’s 14.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system is placed vertically and integrated with the central control cluster.
The car also comes with other notable features such as a GPS navigation system, smart key, push-button start, electronic parking brake, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
The MG RX5 is powered by a 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters, maximum power of 168 horsepower, and maximum torque of 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with gear shifting time as quick as 0.2 seconds.
In terms of safety equipment, the car only has basic features such as electronic stability control, front and rear collision sensors, and a 360-degree camera.
