Looking at the data table above, it is evident that the Mazda CX-5 is the leader in the C-segment crossover market in the Vietnamese market in November 2023, with a total of 1,727 units sold. The Hyundai Tucson takes the second spot with 1,177 units delivered. Following closely is the Ford Territory with 1,066 units sold.
The remaining three models in the segment have relatively lower sales figures. The Honda CR-V sold 539 units, the Mitsubishi Outlander sold 339 units, and the Kia Sportage only managed to sell 200 units.
Despite having its price adjusted twice within a month, with the lowest prices ranging from 759-999 million VND, the Mazda CX-5 continues to be highly sought after and remains the best-selling model in the segment not only in November 2023 but also in the cumulative sales for the 11 months of 2023.
The cumulative sales of the Mazda CX-5 after 11 months reached an impressive figure of 14,758 units, firmly establishing its dominance in the segment. The sales of the CX-5 are nearly three times higher than those of the Hyundai Tucson, and approximately seven times higher than the sales of the Mitsubishi Outlander and Kia Sportage.
Another notable model in the segment is the Ford Territory, which holds the second position with sales of nearly 7,000 units after 11 months in 2023.
The third position belongs to the Hyundai Tucson, which sold over 5,000 units in the same period. The Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Kia Sportage follow suit, occupying the subsequent positions.
With only one month remaining until the end of 2023, it is highly likely that the Mazda CX-5 will maintain its position at the top of the segment with consistently strong sales. The second and third positions in the segment will be closely contested between the Hyundai Tucson, Ford Territory, and Honda CR-V.
