Here we are, on January 1st, 2024, in the early days of the new year, and many readers have likely celebrated with their families and friends. Among them, car enthusiast Cuong “Dola” and his wife chose to travel to Ho Tram, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to welcome the new year.
For this special occasion, the couple decided to bring along two different vehicles: a luxurious Range Rover, which Cuong “Dola” purchased in 2023, and a sleek convertible sports car, the Ferrari SF90 Spider, acquired in 2022.
It is worth mentioning that Cuong “Dola” and his wife cruised the roads in a convertible Ferrari SF90 Spider, valued at nearly 55 billion VND. This is the most expensive car Cuong “Dola” has ever added to his collection in his 16 years as a car enthusiast. Remarkably, there are only two Ferrari SF90 Spider convertibles in the whole of Vietnam.
The Ferrari SF90 Spider owned by Cuong “Dola” showcases an eye-catching blue exterior and interior. Inside the car, Mr. Dola customized the details with the CT logo (representing Cuong – Trang, as well as their restaurant chain logo). Instead of using a decal, the logo is engraved on a badge alongside the model name.
Compared to the four previously imported Ferrari SF90 Stradale cars, the Spider variant owned by Cuong “Dola” boasts the advantage of a folding roof, which takes only about 14 seconds to open or close. While cruising alongside the Ho Tram beach, the car enthusiast delighted in the refreshing breeze by opening the roof.
The Ferrari SF90 Spider, owned by Cuong “Dola,” is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine, twin-turbocharged, and three electric motors. This makes it the first plug-in hybrid convertible produced by Ferrari and currently delivers the highest power output for a V8 engine in any Ferrari vehicle.
In addition to the 769 horsepower generated by the gasoline engine, Ferrari engineers have added 217 additional horsepower from the electric motors. With this hybrid powertrain, the Ferrari SF90 Spider achieves a maximum power output of 986 horsepower. With such extraordinary power, the Ferrari SF90 Spider accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
