In the Chinese market, the Toyota Camry 2025 will be available with two powertrain options: a 2.0L naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a hybrid 2.0L powertrain. There will be a total of nine variants, priced between 173,800 and 208,800 NDT, which is equivalent to 24,420-29,400 USD.
It is worth mentioning that the new Toyota Camry starts at a price that is 6,000 NDT cheaper than the previous version. This marks the first time the starting price of the Camry has fallen below 190,000 NDT.
The new Camry has eliminated the 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine from the previous generation, as well as the 8-speed automatic transmission. The specifications for the 2.0L variants in China are expected to be announced later.
As shown in the preview, the Chinese version of the 2025 Camry features a slightly different design compared to the US version. Specifically, the Chinese version has a different front face for each variant. Buyers have the option to choose between a sportier honeycomb grille design or a more subtle cross-shaped design.
Moving to the rear, the Chinese version of the Camry has a sportier look, with a black border connecting the taillights.
The difference is also evident in the interior, with different central control panel designs. The most noticeable difference is the air conditioning control system. While the US version of the Camry features a traditional button layout, the Chinese version of the Camry utilizes a more modern touchscreen.
