Korean carmaker Hyundai is starting off the new year by preparing to launch one of the most highly anticipated models in India – the upgraded version of the Hyundai Creta. In its latest press release, Hyundai has revealed the standout features and equipment of the 2024 Creta Facelift.
Safety is a standout feature of the new Creta. Hyundai promises to provide 36 standard safety features for the new Creta, including ABS, EBD, BA systems, six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, ESC, and more.
An exciting addition to the Creta facelift is the ADAS system, known as Hyundai SmartSense. This driver assistance technology includes 19 features, surpassing what Kia offers on the Seltos facelift.
While specific details of these features were not listed in the press release, common features will include adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, and more.
Hyundai has promised to use high-strength and advanced steel to ensure the safety of all occupants. They have reinforced the Creta’s chassis in key areas to enhance energy absorption and structural rigidity.
Built on Hyundai’s global design language “Sensuous Sportiness,” the new Hyundai Creta Facelift boasts a bold and attention-grabbing design. With a strong and modern exterior combined with a practical and premium interior, the Hyundai Creta easily meets the needs of the majority of customers, especially young customers.
The front of the car exudes power and authority with a new grille and a straight, upright hood, emphasizing decisiveness on the road. The new LED Horizon daytime running lights and four-cluster LED headlights create a new and impressive appearance for the SUV, attracting those who appreciate a powerful feeling.
Equipped with advanced high-tech features, the interior of the new Hyundai Creta provides a futuristic and cockpit-like feel, with a seamlessly integrated infotainment display and a digital gauge cluster displaying various information. Hyundai states that the upgraded interior of the Creta offers unprecedented spaciousness, comfort, and convenience for users.
When it comes to engines, the Creta Facelift is offered with three engine options: the 1.5L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol engine, 1.5L MPi Petrol engine, and 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel engine. The car is available with four transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and 6-speed automatic. The new Hyundai Creta has been tuned to deliver a more powerful driving experience.
The new Hyundai Creta will be available in 7 variants, with 6 solid color options and 1 dual-tone color option.
