Talented racer Ngo Nguyen Viet Tuan (nicknamed Su) has recently achieved a remarkable milestone for Vietnamese motorcycle racing by consistently finishing on the podium in Round 1 of the FIM MiniGP Malaysia 2023. Previously, no Vietnamese racer had ever participated and won in the FIM MiniGP World Series.
Su started in 8th position in both Race 1 and Race 2. This 11-year-old racer faced tough competition from 3 racers from Malaysia and Singapore right from Race 1. The positions of the 4 racers kept changing throughout the race. After 18 laps, Su finished in 3rd position, behind 2 racers from the host country.

Anh Tuan, Su’s father, shared the achieved goal for Round 1 and set the next goal for Round 2 to be reaching 2nd position. “Su has fulfilled the thirst for international medals for the Vietnamese team with 2 prestigious FIM MiniGP Malaysia medals,” Anh Viet Tuan shared.
In addition to Su, the Vietnamese team participating in the FIM MiniGP Malaysia also includes Ngo Nguyen Minh Tuan (nicknamed Zu). This 9-year-old racer achieved the 3rd starting position in both races, but due to a lack of experience in international competitions, Zu finished 8th and 10th in the races.
