Global reaction to the recently released VF 3 electric car model

Attending CES 2024, Mr. Ted Cummins (Texas, USA) admitted that he wasn’t familiar with VinFast before coming to the exhibition. However, the display area of this Vietnamese automaker immediately caught his attention, particularly the small-sized model called VF 3. “I’m really drawn to the VF 3 mini-SUV model,” said the man who works in the construction industry, expressing his fascination with the design of this Vietnamese electric car.

From the first days of CES 2024, reporter Allison Sheridan expressed that visiting VinFast’s area is a “must” to witness the small electric SUV model VF 3 in person. According to her, given VinFast’s impressive line-up of products, VF 3 will be a suitable choice for users commuting in urban areas.

VinFast’s mini-eSUV model has dimensions of 3,190 x 1,679 x 1,622 mm (length, width, height) and a range of up to 210 km per charge. Allison Sheridan stated that these specifications sufficiently meet the daily needs of users in the US.

“Most people in the US travel less than 40 miles a day. I have a friend in South Dakota who typically drives 18 miles/day, and a car like the VF 3 is an ideal option for him,” said Allison Sheridan.

From the same perspective, Dung Taylor, a US user, believes that American customers are quite pragmatic, especially Gen Z. Consequently, the VF 3 holds great potential in this market, alongside larger-sized models.

In addition, according to Dung Taylor, the VF 3 model is also suitable for first-time electric vehicle owners. There is high demand in the US at present, so VinFast’s electric car can be an “ideal choice.”

Jeff Zurschmeide, an automotive journalist, also has an optimistic view of VF 3 in the US. Writing for the Portland Tribune, Zurschmeide highlighted one of the attractions of VF 3 as its appealing design. “It’s a car with an attractive appearance, and it will be desired by everyone,” evaluated Jeff Zurschmeide.

With good quality, VinFast’s small electric car could even become the “top choice” on the market if it is reasonably priced.

Rafael Chocron, a senior engineer in the design field, also expresses confidence in VF 3. With its compact size, Chocron believes VF 3 can effortlessly navigate through congested streets in major cities. According to him, many exhibition visitors have shown interest in VF 3, and bringing this car model to the US market is a logical step for VinFast. “I believe that the VF 3 mini-SUV will shape the future of transportation,” proclaimed the engineer.

According to reports, alongside VF 3, VinFast’s area at CES 2024 continuously attracts a significant number of tourists and users due to the company’s impressive electric vehicle ecosystem. A particularly notable highlight is the concept model of the VF Wild electric pickup truck, which has garnered global attention among users. Additionally, the DrgnFly electric bicycle also entices numerous users with its distinctive design and highly-rated features.
