After approximately six months of receiving the delivery, renowned car enthusiast Vin Tran unexpectedly put his “street racing car” Honda Civic Type R up for sale.

It is known that this individual had placed an order for the 2023 Honda Civic Type R long before the brand even showcased this “street racing car” model at the VMS exhibition in October 2022.

In June 2023, Vin personally traveled to Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province, to take delivery of the car and drove it back to Ho Chi Minh City.

As stated on his personal page, this Honda Civic Type R has only been driven approximately 5,000 km. The car is equipped with several aftermarket modifications, including the Miltek Catback exhaust system, PRL Air Intake intake filter, four customized wheels, front Strut Bar, and PRL Front Pipe (currently being shipped from the US).

The asking price for this car enthusiast is 2.45 billion VND, slightly above the starting price of 2.4 billion VND.

However, Honda only distributed a total of 18 units of this “street racing car” in the Vietnamese market, and every single one of them has already found an owner. Currently, this is the only one available for sale in the used car market, offering a unique opportunity for those truly passionate about this car model.

Previously, Vin had shared that the Honda Civic Type R is quite fuel-thirsty. With a full tank of 47 liters, the car can only run a maximum of 240 km.

Vin Tran’s 2023 Honda Civic Type R features a Sonic Grey Pearl exterior color. Compared to the standard version, the Civic Type R boasts a sportier appearance with a large black-painted front grille, LED headlights, air vents, and dynamic air side skirts.

The car is fitted with dual 5-spoke 19-inch rims in matte black color and Brembo brake calipers.

At the rear, the car features a large rear wing and three exhaust pipes placed in the middle of the rear diffuser. Other notable details include a red-background Honda logo and Type R logos positioned on the front grille and rear of the car.

Powering the 2023 Honda Civic Type R is a 2.0L 4-cylinder VTEC turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers a maximum power output of 315 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 420 Nm in the rpm range of 2,600 – 4,000.

The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox, enabling the car to achieve a top speed of 272 km/h. The high-performance version of the Honda Civic also offers four driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Individual, and +R.

This high-performance hatchback comes equipped with the Honda Sensing safety technology package, which includes features such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
