Lynk & Co, a Chinese automobile brand owned by the Geely Group, made its debut in the Vietnamese market in December 2023. During the launch event, Lynk & Co showcased four models: the 09, 01, 05, and 03+. At that time, only the Lynk & Co 09 had its price announced.

Now, the Lynk & Co dealer in the southern region has revealed the expected prices for the smaller SUV models: the Lynk & Co 01 and 05. The Lynk & Co 01 is expected to start at around 1.0xx billion VND, while the Lynk & Co 05 is expected to start at around 1.7xx billion VND. If these prices are accurate, it means that no SUV model from Lynk & Co in Vietnam will be priced below 1 billion VND. However, the Lynk & Co 01 is still much cheaper compared to the Volvo XC40, which is priced at 1.79 billion VND.

The Lynk & Co 01, currently the most affordable model in the Lynk & Co lineup, is positioned in the compact SUV segment. It shares the same platform as the Volvo XC40, which is also available in Vietnam. The Lynk & Co 01 has dimensions of 4,549 x 1,860 x 1,689 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,734 mm.

The Lynk & Co 01 features a unique design with a two-tier headlight system, including high-performance LED headlights below and separate LED daytime running lights above. It also sports an Urban Matrix grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, full LED tail lights, electric tailgate, and dual sports exhaust pipes.

Inside, the Lynk & Co 01 offers a comfortable and well-equipped 5-seater interior. It comes with features such as leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 12.8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear-seat air vents, air quality management system, electronic parking brake, hill start assist, push-button start, smart key, and panoramic sunroof.

When it comes to safety, the Lynk & Co 01 is equipped with 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, emergency automatic braking with pedestrian detection, collision warning, driver distraction warning, lane departure warning, emergency lane-keeping assist, 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, and lane-keeping assist.

Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 01 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers maximum power output of 218 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and peak torque of 325 Nm at 1,800 – 4,500 rpm. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, offering an average fuel consumption of 7.4 liters per 100 km.

In contrast to the Lynk & Co 01’s traditional SUV design, the Lynk & Co 05 belongs to the SUV Coupe segment. The Lynk & Co 05 can be seen as a more stylish version of the Lynk & Co 01.

Like the Lynk & Co 01, the Lynk & Co 05 shares the same platform as the Volvo XC40 and Lynk & Co 01. The Lynk & Co 05 has dimensions of 4,592 x 1,879 x 1,628 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,734 mm. It is longer, wider, and lower than the Lynk & Co 01, while having the same wheelbase.

The Lynk & Co 05 also features a two-tier headlight system and full LED tail lights. It is equipped with adaptive headlights, acoustic windshield, electric/folding/heated/auto-dimming/reverse-linked door mirrors, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

They include highway pilot assist, door open collision warning, adaptive headlights, lane keeping support, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, automated parking, front parking sensors, and hill descent control.
