Suzuki Jimny is one of the most anticipated SUV models in the Vietnamese market.
According to information from sales consultants, the car is expected to be launched around March 2024.
Recently, a leaked photo of the latest car registration fee calculation table from the Ministry of Finance appeared on social media. This table shows that the official Suzuki Jimny (JB74V code) has a pre-tax price of 789 million VND. This is also the price that many dealerships are accepting deposits for this SUV model.
On the website of Suzuki Vietnam, the official images of Jimny have been released with the caption “coming soon”. In addition, the car has also arrived at most dealerships nationwide to prepare for display and product introduction.
The Suzuki Jimny launched in Vietnam will be the 3-door version. In this version, the SUV model has dimensions of 3,480 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase length of 2,250 mm.
The exterior of the car has a rugged style, reminiscent of Land Rover Defender or Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUVs.

In terms of interior, as an off-road vehicle, the cabin of Suzuki Jimny is designed quite simply. However, the car still has full amenities such as: leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated function buttons, analogue instrument cluster with a central infotainment screen, 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.
In terms of safety equipment, Suzuki Jimny will have a range of driving assistance features such as anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and 6 airbags.
Powering the Suzuki Jimny in the Vietnamese market is a naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. Notably, Suzuki Jimny is perhaps the only small-sized high-ride SUV equipped with a 4WD drivetrain, differential lock, multiple driving modes, and comes with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
