Although the official launch date has not been determined, many Suzuki Jimny cars have been transported to dealerships.
Notably, some dealerships in the south are also selling a modified Suzuki Jimny in the style of the G-Class.
Accordingly, the car is priced at 999 million VND, which is 200 million higher than the expected price of the Suzuki Jimny 3-door. Customers who buy this modified Jimny can receive the car before Lunar New Year.
The exterior of the car has been significantly changed from the grille, front/rear bumper, wheel arches, headlight cluster, door edge moldings to make it look similar to the new Mercedes-AMG G 63.
As for the interior, the seats in this modified Jimny are reupholstered in leather, and the air vent details are also redone in a “turbine-like” style like the G-Class. The rest of the cabin remains unchanged.
The car still features: a leather-wrapped steering wheel with function buttons, an analog instrument cluster with an information screen in the middle, a 7-inch touchscreen center display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, 6-way manually adjustable front seats, 4-way manually adjustable passenger seats, single-zone automatic air conditioning, etc.
Providing power for this Suzuki Jimny is still a naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine producing a maximum output of 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-wheel drive system.
Regarding safety equipment, the Suzuki Jimny will have driving assistance features such as: anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a 6-airbag system.
