Lexus introduced the UX 300h in 2025, and the Japanese luxury brand has now announced the starting price for the US market at $37,490, which is $1,000 higher than the previous UX 250h starting price of $36,490.
Although the price increase is not significant, this crossover has major improvements including the fifth-generation hybrid system. It has a more powerful electric motor, resulting in an additional 196 horsepower, 15 horsepower higher than the previous version.
In addition to the more powerful hybrid powertrain, the nickel metal hydride battery has been replaced with a new lithium-ion battery. The crossover also adopts new shift-by-wire technology to provide a “faster and smoother shifting experience”.
With these upgrades, the UX 300h can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 8.0 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds faster than the previous version. This model is also expected to have better fuel efficiency than its predecessor.
Inside the cabin, the car features new chrome accents. The Premium and F Sport variants have a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, while the F Sport Handling version has a power-adjustable trunk with a foot sensor.
In terms of safety, the Lexus UX 2025 is equipped with the new Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, replacing the previous 2.5 system, and includes features such as All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection. In addition, the car is also equipped with features such as Road Sign Assist, Active Steering Assist, and Lane Departure Alert.
The Lexus UX 2025 comes standard with LED headlights, aluminum roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 8-way power-adjustable NuLuxe leather-trimmed front seats, a 7-inch multi-information display, and an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
