Mercedes-Benz recently introduced the special edition AMG A45 S in Green Hell Magno paint, inspired by the famous Nurburgring race track.

The Nurburgring racetrack was built in the 1920s, winding through the villages and ancient castles of Nurburg, Germany. Nurburgring now has a length of 5,148 m, but in the past, the track measured over 21 km in total.

Not only is it the venue for F1 races (the first F1 race was held in 1951), Nurburgring is also famous for various other motorsport events such as the 24 Hours Nurburgring, 1000km Nurburgring, ADAC, DTM… Nurburgring is renowned for its challenging corners and the picturesque scenery, earning it the nickname Green Hell.

In fact, the AMG A45 S is not the only car available in the Green Hell Magno paint. Previously, the German automaker had already offered this color on the AMG GT R sports car in 2016. However, the color scheme of the two cars is completely different. The AMG A45 S stands out with a deep green color, combined with yellow accents running along the body of the car.

The car is also equipped with 19-inch matte black wheels with yellow trim on the spokes. In addition, the glossy black brake calipers feature white AMG lettering.

Inside, the AMG A45 S is equipped with racing seats featuring yellow embroidery on the headrest. Moreover, yellow accents also appear in various other positions such as door handles, dashboard, and floor mats.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz offers two optional upgrade packages for the AMG A45 S – the AMG Night Package and the AMG Night Package II, featuring glossy black exterior details and dark-tinted windows. Meanwhile, the rear spoiler is available when customers choose the AMG Aerodynamics package.

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 416 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system called AMG Performance 4Matic+. This setup allows the hatchback to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 270 km/h.
