What’s special about the newly “received” Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster by Mr. Vu?
As we have shared, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is quite rare in Vietnam with colors white, blue, gray, and gold. Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s recently repurchased car is gray, previously owned by a supercar enthusiast in Ho Chi Minh City.
Along with the mouse gray exterior, the car has many carbon details, black top, and finally, this Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster sports car has dark-colored wheels, with eye-catching red brake calipers. Moreover, the Vantage logo at the rear of the car is painted red by the previous owner.
Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu has a special passion for sports cars from the Aston Martin brand. He is said to own nearly 15 cars, and most recently, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster has made its appearance. The interior of the car is paired with brown color.
The selling price for an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster when it was first launched was about $130,000. In Vietnam, a used Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is priced at over 3 billion VND.
The birth process of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage comes in two versions, the 2005 and 2018 models. Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu currently owns two old models of Aston Martin V8 Vantage, one coupe and the other a roadster. One of the 2018 Aston Martin V8 Vantage models was previously listed for sale in Vietnam, however, it seems that the businessman overlooked it.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster was first introduced at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show and was rated as one of the “sexiest” convertibles. The convertible version of the V8 Vantage only takes about 18 to 20 seconds to open or close the top.
The fabric roof of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster can operate even when the car is moving, but the British luxury carmaker recommends that drivers do this when the vehicle is traveling at speeds below 50 km/h.
The transmission of the car
Initially, Aston Martin equipped the V8 Vantage Roadster with a V8 engine, 4.3 liters in size, producing a maximum power of 385 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 409 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 4.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 282 km/h.
In 2009, Aston Martin brought a more powerful heart to the V8 Vantage Roadster. This model is equipped with a V8 engine, 4.7 liters in size, producing a maximum power of 426 horsepower and a peak torque of 470 Nm. Acceleration from 0-97 km/h is shortened to 4.5 seconds, while the top speed is raised to 290 km/h.
