3 Versions of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 Coming to Vietnam

The latest generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has just been officially launched in the US with 3 versions, with prices starting from 1.37 billion VND. This can be considered a preview of the configuration of the car that will be launched in the Vietnamese market.

It has been nearly 3 years since it left the US market in 2021, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has officially returned in a completely new look. Here, the SUV model is distributed with 3 versions, including the Land Cruiser Prado 1958, Land Cruiser Prado, and First Edition.

The Land Cruiser Prado 1958 has a starting price of 55,950 USD (1.37 billion VND). This version’s name pays tribute to the first generation of Land Cruiser exported to the US in 1958. The highlight of this version’s exterior is the round LED headlights with a classic touch.

The standard equipment on the 1958 version includes fabric seats with heating, smart lock, blind spot monitoring, automatic air conditioning, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connection. This version is limited in terms of color, with only 3 exterior colors: black, gray, white, while the interior has only the black color option.

The mid-range Land Cruiser Prado features rectangular headlights. Inside, the car is equipped with synthetic leather seats, a dual 12.3-inch screen, a 10-speaker sound system, and an electric tailgate. Toyota has also added the feature of towing or moving on rough roads. In addition, the car also has a Multi-Terrain Select driving mode control with different types of roads and a terrain monitoring camera, a 10-speaker sound system, and power-adjustable rear doors.

This version also has an optional package with ventilated genuine leather seats, a 14-speaker JBL system, a digital rearview mirror, a HUD display, an electrically adjustable sunroof, and a cooling box at the central control cluster. The color options for the mid-range version are also more diverse, including 3 basic colors: black, gray, white and two special colors: gray with beige combination (Trail Dust/Grayscape) and blue with gray combination (Heritage Blue/Grayscape).

The starting price of the Land Cruiser Prado version is 61,950 USD (1.52 billion VND).

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado First Edition has a price starting from 74,950 USD (1.84 billion VND) and possesses all the conveniences of the above two versions. This version is equipped with round headlights similar to the 1958 version, exclusive 18-inch rims, “First Edition” logos on both sides of the car, roof rails, and underbody protection.

After the US, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will continue to be introduced in many other places, including Vietnam. Currently, some authorized dealers have started accepting deposits for this SUV model with an expected price of about 2.7 billion VND, with delivery scheduled for mid-year. Considering that both cars in the US and Vietnam are assembled in Japan, the Land Cruiser Prado model sold in the US could be a reference version for the Vietnamese market.
