Kia has announced the new list prices for the upgraded Kia Sonet model across its life cycles on the Indian market. Compared to the current model in Vietnam, the new Kia Sonet looks not much different, mostly small improvements in interior design.
The main lighting cluster now looks sportier with a boomerang-shaped locator strip, the lower bumper extends the silver trim, the slats in the air vent switch to honeycomb shape. The 2024 Kia Sonet is also equipped with new tail lights, slight adjustments to the front and rear bumper for a different feel.
The interior of the Kia Sonet Facelift is equipped with a 10.25 inch touch screen system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Details such as sunroof and seat color are also slightly adjusted with 11 color options.
As previously revealed, in the Indian market, the new Kia Sonet continues to have 2 engine options: 1.2L petrol (82 horsepower), 1.0L turbo petrol (88 horsepower) and 1.5L diesel (114 horsepower). All use front-wheel drive.

The price of the 2024 Kia Sonet in India ranges from 7.99-15.69 lahk, equivalent to about 9,641-18,932 USD.
“Compared to the previous generation, the 2024 Kia Sonet may have a higher price but we have equipped it with more technology, ensuring that the price customers pay is appropriate and worth what they receive. The 2023 Kia Sonet is also equipped with the most advanced ADAS safety technology, improving the SUV driving experience for users,” Myung-sik Sohn, Strategy Director of Kia India shared with the press.
In Vietnam, Kia Sonet is currently the leading crossover SUV in the market with sales of 11,366 units in 2024. Thaco currently distributes Kia Sonet with only one engine option, the Smartstream 1.5L petrol (113 horsepower, 144 Nm), with prices ranging from 519-574 million VND.
