The Gumball 3000 supercar journey is limited to a maximum of 50 slots for newcomers, with a participation cost of up to 2.5 billion VND.
Recently, Gumball 3000 has shared some conditions for participating in this year’s supercar journey. For each new country, the number of registrations is limited to 50 slots. Each team will consist of 1 car and 2 people, and the cost for the 9-day journey will be 80,000 British Pounds (~2.5 billion VND). This cost includes VIP hospitality at the F1 Singapore race.
In addition, participants are required to submit an application form, which summarizes their driving experience, expertise, the cars they have owned or driven, and provides detailed information about past journeys or races they have participated in. If the information is not attractive enough, the application will be rejected.
The year 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the world’s largest supercar journey, and Gumball 3000’s expected itinerary will start on Saturday, September 14th, in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). The convoy of 100 supercars will then depart for Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. At the end of the journey, the team with the best impression will receive the “Spirit of Gumball” trophy from the organizers of Gumball 3000.
Currently, car enthusiasts in Vietnam are very interested to know whether famous Vietnamese car enthusiasts like Minh “Nhua,” Hoang Kim Khanh, or Cuong “Dola” will participate in this world’s largest supercar journey.
Gumball was founded by British investor Maxmillion Cooper (also known as “Mr. Gumball”) and first organized in 1999. Gumball 3000 is a journey that passes through many famous cities in the world, combining cars, music, fashion, film… all of which create a luxury lifestyle and brand.
