On March 1, 2024, Honda Vietnam announced a new promotion for its models this month. The most discounted model is the Honda CR-V.

Specifically, Honda will fully support the registration fee for the G and L versions of the CR-V. The G version will also receive an additional cash incentive of 30 million VND, while the L version comes with a gift of 1 year of comprehensive insurance.

This promotion is for the Honda CR-V produced in 2023 (VIN number 2023). In other words, Honda Vietnam’s promotion aims to clear inventory at dealerships. Additionally, the support for the Honda CR-V will be applied according to a 10% registration fee.

Promotion for the Honda CR-V in March 2024

The G version of the Honda CR-V has a list price of 1.109 billion VND, while the corresponding figures for the L 2WD version is 1.159 billion VND and the L AWD version is 1.31 billion VND. With the registration fee incentive, customers who purchase a Honda CR-V with a VIN number of 2023 this month will save 111 million VND with the G version, 116 million VND with the L 2WD version, and 131 million VND with the L AWD version. Plus the 30 million VND cash incentive, the total incentive for the Honda CR-V G version will be 141 million VND.

Honda Vietnam’s promotion will be applied to customers who sign the purchase contract and complete the payment procedure in full from March 5 to March 31, 2024. The hybrid e:HEV RS version of the Honda CR-V will not have an official promotion. This is also the only fully imported version of this model from Thailand.

Officially launched in the Vietnamese market since October 2023, the 6th generation fully redesigned Honda CR-V has a sportier exterior design, larger dimensions, and more complete convenience and safety features, along with 2 engine options. The car features the Honda Connect connectivity system and the standard advanced safety technology package Honda Sensing on all versions.

Other notable features of this model include LED headlights from front to rear, 18-inch alloy wheels, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2 memory positions, 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, digital instrument cluster, 9-inch center touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, 12-speaker Bose audio system, automatic climate control, interior ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, head-up display, remote engine start, smart key card, and electronic parking brake.

The interior of the Honda CR-V is more convenient

In the G and L versions, the car will use a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum output of 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.

Meanwhile, the e:HEV RS version uses a hybrid powertrain, including a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a power output of 146 horsepower. The engine is combined with 2 electric motors with a total power output of 181 horsepower. In total, the car has a power output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 335 Nm.

Despite having the highest price in its segment, the Honda CR-V still achieves decent sales. In January 2024, Honda sold 270 CR-V units in Vietnam. As a result, the car ranked 3rd in the compact SUV segment, behind the Mazda CX-5 and Ford Territory.
