Starting from March 1, 2024, local residents and tourists visiting Savannakhet can use 100% electric transportation services, with 5-star service standards, superior vehicle quality, and dedicated and professional drivers. Information about routes and fares will be transparent and publicly available for each trip.
To celebrate this event, Xanh SM Laos will launch exclusive promotional programs for Savannakhet. Specifically, from March 1 to March 10, customers who download the Xanh SM Laos app and book a ride will receive two 100% discount codes (up to 50,000 kip) per day. In addition, on the occasion of the opening of Laos tourism year in Savannakhet province, Xanh SM Laos will continue to offer 100 discount codes for 50% off (up to 50,000 kip) per day to customers (maximum of 3 trips per day) from March 11 to March 17.
Initially, Xanh SM Laos will deploy a fleet of 100 VinFast VF 5 Plus electric cars in the characteristic cyan color of the brand, operating in Savannakhet province. The choice of Savannakhet to expand the service is part of Xanh SM Laos’ plan to develop electric taxi services in Laos and contribute to promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions for local residents and international tourists.
