A few days ago, Mitsubishi announced a new special price for the Xforce, ranging from 599 to 680 million VND. Shortly after, Hyundai Thanh Cong also decided to reduce the recommended selling price of the Creta.

Accordingly, the standard Hyundai Creta is now priced at 599 million VND, a reduction of 41 million VND. The corresponding reduction for the special edition is 40 million VND, down to 650 million VND. Meanwhile, the premium version has a new price of 699 million VND, a reduction of 41 million VND.

New listed prices of Hyundai Creta (in Vietnamese Dong)

With the new selling price, Hyundai Creta is now priced similarly to the Mitsubishi Xforce. At the same time, the starting price of this B-segment SUV is much cheaper than its competitors like the Kia Seltos, Honda HR-V, and Toyota Yaris Cross.

According to sales consultants at the dealership, the new listed prices of Hyundai Creta have been in effect since March 2, 2024. Creta is the latest model from Hyundai Thanh Cong to have a price adjustment in recent months. At the end of 2023, Hyundai Thanh Cong reduced the prices of the Tucson and Santa Fe models, boosting their sales. However, the prices of Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe were later adjusted to increase again. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the new listed prices of Hyundai Creta are only applied for a short period of time.

In addition, Hyundai Creta is the third B-segment SUV to have a price reduction in Vietnam since the beginning of the year, after the Toyota Yaris Cross and Mitsubishi Xforce. The new selling price promises to leverage and boost the sales of Hyundai Creta in the coming time.

In 2023, Hyundai Creta was the best-selling B-segment SUV in Vietnam with sales of up to 10,719 units. However, in January 2024, this model dropped to the 3rd position in the segment with sales of 413 units, a decrease of 78.8% compared to December 2023, placing it behind the Honda HR-V and Kia Seltos.

Assembled in Vietnam, Hyundai Creta is very popular in the country thanks to its stylish design, compact size but spacious interior, and comprehensive convenience and safety features.

In Vietnam, Hyundai Creta stands out with features such as the Parametric Hidden Light grille with hidden large positioning lights, full LED lighting system, 17-inch 5-spoke two-tone scratchy alloy wheels, muscular wheel arches, shark fin antenna and roof spoiler, high-mounted LED brake lights, etc.

Inside the car, Hyundai Creta is equipped with leather seats, a digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen center display, Bose sound system, electronic parking brake with Autohold feature. In addition, it has the SmartSense active safety system with functions like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

The Hyundai Creta is powered by a SmartStream 1.5L gasoline engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower and a peak torque of 144 Nm. The engine is paired with an intelligent variable transmission (iVT) and front-wheel drive.
