Similar to the past few months, Subaru Forester is offering an official promotion in March 2024. However, compared to the previous month, the discount for the i-L and i-L EyeSight trim levels has decreased.
Specifically, in March, the standard i-L version of the Subaru Forester is receiving a cash incentive of 120 million VND instead of the previous 170 million VND. As a result, the selling price of the i-L trim is reduced to 849 million VND.
For the i-L EyeSight trim, customers purchasing the Subaru Forester in this month will receive a cash discount of 210 million VND. In other words, buyers only need to pay 889 million VND for the i-L EyeSight trim. Additionally, the car also comes with an additional automatic folding mirror accessory worth 3.5 million VND, but it cannot be converted into cash.
The highest discount is offered for the i-S EyeSight trim, with 250 million VND. The discounted price for this trim is 949 million VND. However, this promotion only applies to the limited quantity of the i-S EyeSight trim in crystal green paint color.
In addition to the cash incentives, customers purchasing the Subaru Forester will also receive a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty. Subaru’s program will be valid from now until the end of March 31, 2024 and is applicable to the 2023 Forester model (VIN number 2023).

The Ford Territory is being given 3 years of physical insurance coverage, while the Honda CR-V G and L trims are offered 100% registration fee exemption, plus an additional 30 million VND in cash or 1 year of body insurance. The highest-value incentive for the Honda CR-V is up to 141 million VND.
As a fully imported car from Thailand, the Subaru Forester does not have a competitive advantage in terms of pricing compared to some rivals in the same segment. Therefore, Subaru frequently runs promotional campaigns to attract customers to this compact SUV.
In addition to the price, the Forester also falls behind some rivals in terms of brand recognition and design. However, it is equipped as standard with the renowned EyeSight 4.0 advanced driver assistance system. With dual cameras for wider field of view, the EyeSight 4.0 package brings ADAS features such as automatic collision avoidance braking, emergency steering assist, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and lane keeping assist.
The engine of this model is a 2.0L Boxer 4-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 154 horsepower and a peak torque of 196 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission with 7 virtual gears and Subaru’s signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
